its been such a hectic week that i've somewhat neglected this space. =S nonetheless, continuing on the theme of flowers, I dig up this old picture of these purple flowers that I took in front of the National Theater in Taipei. I thought they're lavender but on a closer look, they don't quite look like the lavender I saw in Hokkaido.

this was taken before the station became our state property. frankly speaking, I'm not exactly sure if I've been here to take a train up north before. if I had, I was probably too young to remember it, if I have not I was probably dreaming. nonetheless, I'm glad I was here to jot down our heritage in pictures!

If there's only one thing I've learnt about photography, it would be to "go low". And most often than not, most of the shots I'm satisfied with were usually taken when i "go low".
This shot was taken after much bending and kneeling in front of this pretty flower and I love how Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall acted
as a backdrop~
